High Fire Kiln Wash
Before you fire glazed ware, porcelain, or stoneware, protect the bottom of the kiln and tops of shelves with high fire kiln wash. A must for kilns rated to 2,300 degrees F or higher even if the kiln is usually fired to lower temperatures. Mix with water and brush on a thin, even coat to prevent glaze drippings from sticking permanently. Easily removed by scrapping. As a powder, Kiln Wash has an unlimited shelf life.
