This authentic cotton canvas by Fredix is specially coated to provide an absorbent surface that performs similar to a cold-pressed or rough watercolor paper. This combination creates a unique texture blend of an all-natural woven material with a proprietary patented gesso for all water-based paints. The surface delivers a one-of-a-kind watercolor painting experience captured on the distinctive look of woven canvas. The durable painting surface will not buckle when wet and won’t tear like paper, so you can scratch, scrape, or staple it. Wet and rewet it without damaging the durable canvas. Comprised of 100% cotton, the acid-free canvas is stapled to the back so you can paint on all four edges and hang without a frame. Frame with or without glass. Kiln-dried stretcher bars.
